About Nuance by Nan
| Hello! Welcome to Nuance by Nan! My name is
Nan Whitehead, and I created Nuance by Nan as a place for women to
discover their own personal style with cosmetics and skin care products.
Courage has a lot to do with style and wearing
make-up…a woman needs to make the commitment to experiment with color.
Make-up is for every woman (young and mature). It's knowing how much or
how to little to wear that's important.
When you apply your make-up properly it will enhance
the best of what you have. The greatest changes are to those of us who
have the plainest faces. It is here we can create extraordinary
improvements.
I created Nuance by Nan in 1984 after a career as a
professional actress and model. Having been a featured actress in numerous soap
operas, commercials and feature films with such stars as Sylvester
Stallone, John Travolta and Frank Sinatra, it gave me the opportunity to
learn the utmost about make-up application and how to coordinate it with
your personality.
I started by guest speaking and demonstrating make-up
applications to groups of women. Due to customer demand for quality
products and personalized service, I researched and developed cosmetics
and a full line of skin care products, packaged them under Nuance by Nan
and opened my salon in Bayonne, New Jersey.
Personal service is the key to my successful business
growth. Unlike major department stores, I devote as much time as needed to
my clients…it's the only way to succeed in business and I learn from my
clients as well!
